The UK Government has introduced 2 incentive schemes to stimulate the adoption of renewable energy technology. For electricity producing technologies (e.g. Solar PV, Wind Turbines), incentives are paid via the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT £). For heat producing technologies (e.g. Biomass, Solar Thermal, Heat Pumps), incentives are paid via the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI £). The UK Government has legally binding carbon reduction targets and the incentive schemes will assist in reaching this target. We have prepared 2 short videos to help explain both the Solar Feed-In-Tariff (FIT £) and Renewable heat Incentive (RHI £) scheme. If you would like any further information, please Contact Us.
